Can I change from Wegovy® to Mounjaro® (or vice versa)?

We generally recommend continuing with the same type of injectable weight loss medication. However, if you do wish to switch, you should begin the new treatment at its lowest starting dose. For example, someone previously using Wegovy® should start Mounjaro® at 2.5mg. There’s no need for a “washout” period between the two treatments, so you can start the new injection the following week.
