Short Answer
If PillSorted is your nominated pharmacy, your GP sends prescriptions to us electronically. You can request repeats through your GP surgery, the NHS App, or by contacting us directly.
How It Works
- Nominate PillSorted — ask your GP to set PillSorted as your nominated pharmacy, or do it through the NHS App.
- Request your repeat — order through your GP surgery (online, by phone, or in person) or via the NHS App.
- We receive it — your GP sends the prescription to us electronically. You'll get a notification when we receive it.
- We dispense and deliver — we prepare your medication and send it to your registered address.
How to Reorder
When it's time to reorder, you have several options:
- NHS App — request your repeat prescription directly
- GP surgery — contact them by phone, online portal, or in person
- PillSorted reminders — we'll send you a reminder when your medication is due. Follow the link to confirm your order.
How Long Does It Take?
- Your GP typically processes repeat requests within 2–3 working days
- Once we receive the prescription, we aim to dispense and dispatch within 1–2 working days
- Delivery is usually next working day after dispatch via Royal Mail
